This year was another year of adaptability, flexibility, and patience. For two years now, we have been navigating an ongoing global pandemic that has uprooted our lives and challenged us in ways we were not expecting. In 2021, we started our journey on getting back to normal, but what is normal? And is “normal” or how things were in the past possible to get back to? While we get closer to ending this year, I want to reflect and take a look back at 2021.
2021 brought us back together with reduced restrictions and advances in technology and medicine. Schools reopened for students to, once again, learn within the classroom and engage in social interaction. This change did not come easy to everyone, and both parents and students had learning curves, fears, and worries to deal with.
The events that happened within the last two years have given us an opportunity for change and growth. Change in how we do things and how we CAN adapt and be open to change. And growth as individuals and as a community.
At Shaping Change, we are focused on just that: change and growth. This year, 2021, was a year of self-reflection, evaluation, and preparation for the changes to come.
We want to focus more on compassionate care in our service delivery from the moment our patients reach out to us to when they are ready to stop services. We want to improve the quality of our services to make them even better. We want to expand our reach to provide services to more families and individuals in need.
We opened a second location in Boynton Beach, Florida, and this is just the beginning! We want to continue expanding while maintaining integrity in our services. Our goal is to listen with compassion and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Moving forward and moving on from this pandemic might be difficult. It is something we need to do together. And this will look different for each of us. But if we work together and continue to change and grow together, we will see positive results. Contact us today. We are ready to hear from you!
